TIM REID TO HOST THE FIRST EVER AUSTRALIAN PODCAST AWARDS
Australia’s most sought-after marketing speaker and futurist Tim Reid will host Cast Away, the first ever Australian podcast awards. Attended by podcasters, industry and fans from all over the country, the Cast Away Awards will take place on 1 April, at Giant Dwarf, in Sydney.

Tim Reid is the founder and host of Australia’s number one business and marketing podcast – The Small Business Big Marketing Show, which can also be found on all Virgin Australia domestic and international flights.
Having launched this hit program seven years ago and with over 350 episodes in the tank, Small Business Big Marketing regularly ranks on iTunes above the Australian Stock Exchange, Alan Jones, Tim Ferris and the Harvard Business School as the number one business marketing podcast.
The first ever Cast Away Awards will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Giant Dwarf Theatre, 199 Cleveland St, Redfern, Sydney. Tickets are $60+booking and are inclusive of a drink on arrival, and canapes throughout the evening.
During the awards ceremony, there will be a live podcast recording by Story Club, and the audience will be treated to the full red-carpet experience before and after the ceremony, with refreshments provided.

Representatives of the 200-plus podcasts entered in Cast Away, as well as members of the 23-person judging panel, will be in attendance along with podcast fans and other media industry professionals.
