CASEFILE LEADS POPULAR VOTE WITH LESS THAN TWO WEEKS LEFT

The Australian true crime podcast with a global following and an anonymous host has drawn a line in the sand.

The Cast Away Awards Popular Vote category had over 120 podcasts enter, and with upwards of 5,000 votes cast, Casefile: True Crime Podcast has laid claim to over one-fifth of all votes. With voting open until 24th March, the question is how many votes can they get, and can anyone possibly stop them?

While Casefile is the only one in quadruple digits, the jostling for second place is on between a host of podcasts with triple-digit votes and counting, including:

The Outer Sanctum - 142

Snag Says - 105 votes

Neighbuzz: The Neighbours Recap Podcast - 119

TOFOP - 211

The Countdown: Movie & Television Reviews - 157

Popchops - 236

Sporting Woods: A Cricket Podcast - 200

Peach & Black Podcast - 308

The Stupidly Small Podcast - 236

The Andy Social Podcast - 102

Ladies Who League - 286

Voting remains open at castawayawards.com.au/vote until 24 March, the week before the Cast Away Awards ceremony at Giant Dwarf in Sydney on April 1. Tickets are available but selling fast at castawayawards.com.au/tickets
